BIBLICAL EMPHASIS
Jesus sought and welcomed Zacchaeus before Zacchaeus promised to change. His generosity and repayment did not purchase salvation; they showed that grace had changed his heart. Jesus came to seek and save the lost, and right actions follow His grace.
